Shamaine Daniels is an at-large member of the Harrisburg City Council. She assumed office in 2014. Her current term ends on January 5, 2026.
She is the Democratic candidate for Congress in the 10th District, opposing incumbent Rep. Scott Perry.
Born in Venezuela, she came to the United States with her family at the age of 13. She earned a bachelor’s degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2000, a graduate degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2004, and a law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2004.
